Now Recruiting: Program Facilitator
We are currently recruiting a Program Facilitator for an established community yoga program in Kensington. The program runs once a week for one hour on a Friday afternoon and aligns with the Victorian public school term calendar.
Participants in the program have diverse backgrounds and needs, including physical injuries, disability and mental health conditions. As such, the Program Facilitator must be competent at providing modified and inclusive programming. Each session is also supported by a representative from the hosting community organisation.
Applicants must have at least two years yoga teaching experience, have undertaken trauma-informed training, and be passionate about community-based yoga programming.
A background in community work is desired but not essential.
This is a paid position and requires a 12-month (four-term) commitment to the program.
The incumbent will be mentored directly by State of Being senior staff and will be required to attend bimonthly Program Facilitator mentor sessions.
The program commences Friday 9th February 2018.
To apply, email your CV and two teaching references to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applications close at 5pm on Friday 12th January.
We look forward to hearing from you!
